30-Day Parts Warranty
All parts sold by MX Parts AU carry a 30-day warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
What Is Covered
This warranty applies when a product:
- Has a major fault — the product is significantly different from its description, is substantially unfit for its intended purpose, or is unsafe
- Has a minor fault — the product has a minor defect that can be repaired within a reasonable time
- Does not match the description or sample shown on our website
- Fails to perform as reasonably expected under normal use
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not apply if:
- The product was damaged through misuse, neglect, accident, or improper installation
- Normal wear and tear has occurred
- The product has been modified or altered from its original condition
- Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) that does not affect functionality
- Decals and graphics — these are print-on-demand products and are not covered under warranty
- You were aware of the fault before purchasing
Major vs. Minor Faults
Major fault: If a product has a major fault, you are entitled to choose between a full refund, a replacement, or compensation for the drop in value. A major fault means the product is significantly different from its description, is substantially unfit for its common purpose, is unsafe, or has a defect that a reasonable consumer would not have purchased the product had they known about it.
Minor fault: If a product has a minor fault, we will repair the product within a reasonable timeframe. If we are unable to repair the item, you may then choose a replacement or refund.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, please contact us at sales@mxpartsau.com within 30 days of receiving your item. Include the following:
- Your order number
- A description of the defect
- Photos or video showing the issue
Our team will review your claim and, if approved, provide you with next steps. Depending on the issue, we may offer a replacement, repair, or refund at our discretion.
Warranty claims follow the same return process — all items must be coordinated through MX Parts AU. Do not send items back to the manufacturer directly.
Warranty Shipping
For confirmed warranty claims, MX Parts AU will cover the cost of return shipping. We will provide a prepaid shipping label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.
Consumer Guarantees
Our warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
