14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We offer a 14-day guarantee on all products purchased from MX Parts AU. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order, subject to the conditions outlined below.

Please note: Changes of mind are strictly not applicable under this guarantee for return or refund. This guarantee covers product defects and faults only.

What This Guarantee Covers

This guarantee applies when a product:

  • Has a major fault — the product is significantly different from its description, is substantially unfit for its intended purpose, or is unsafe
  • Has a minor fault — the product has a minor defect that can be repaired within a reasonable time
  • Does not match the description or sample shown on our website
  • Fails to perform as reasonably expected

What This Guarantee Does Not Cover

This guarantee does not apply if:

  • You simply changed your mind or found the product cheaper elsewhere
  • The product was damaged through misuse, neglect, or abnormal conditions
  • You were aware of the fault before purchasing
  • Normal wear and tear has occurred
  • The product has been modified or altered from its original condition
  • Gift cards — gift cards are non-refundable
  • Sale or clearance items — only regular-priced items may be refunded
  • Custom or personalised products — custom decals, graphics, and print-on-demand orders are final sale

Major vs. Minor Faults

Major fault: If a product has a major fault, you are entitled to choose between a full refund, a replacement, or compensation for the drop in value. A major fault means the product is significantly different from its description, is substantially unfit for its common purpose, is unsafe, or has a defect that a reasonable consumer would not have purchased the product had they known about it.

Minor fault: If a product has a minor fault, we will repair the product within a reasonable timeframe. If we are unable to repair the item, you may then choose a replacement or refund.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and work with you to make it right.

How to Return an Item

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at sales@mxpartsau.com with your order number and a description of the issue, including photos where applicable.
  2. Our team will review your request and, if approved, provide you with return instructions.
  3. Items must be returned in their original packaging, unused (unless faulty), and in the same condition you received them.
  4. Please include your receipt or proof of purchase with the return.

Important: Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. All returns must be coordinated through MX Parts AU. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return Shipping

For faulty or incorrect items, MX Parts AU will cover the cost of return shipping. We will provide a prepaid shipping label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.

For all other approved returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item without tracking.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or credit card provider.

If you haven't received your refund within 10 business days of our approval confirmation, please first check with your bank or credit card company, as processing times may vary. If you've done this and still have not received your refund, contact us at sales@mxpartsau.com.

Partial Refunds

In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Items that show signs of use or are not in their original condition
  • Items returned without original packaging or missing components
  • Items returned more than 14 days after delivery

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange a faulty item for the same product, please contact us at sales@mxpartsau.com with your order details and we will arrange the exchange promptly.

International Orders

For international orders, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Please note that international shipping times may vary, and we are not responsible for delays or issues caused by customs authorities. Any customs duties or taxes on returned goods are the responsibility of the customer.
